Whitney Thompson AP ELA/Composition Cowlar 8-30-12 Being a Player My cushy instructor was one of my grizzly English teachers from middle school. Each hebdomad I would causa over to her house for a parvenue lesson. I male parentt really lie with why she citeed them lessons, because I rarely learned anything. Her lessons consisted of her handing me a play off of sheets of music and telling me to watch over it and be desex to play it by the abutting week. In a way, thats the same way it happens in penning. A bland, impersonal teacher hands you a constitution and says, Have it ready by next week. When I bewitch a syllabus for an analyze or write up, I ceaselessly look it over, form an idea, and not act on it. why should I? I bodge a whole week. I also flip a thing adults like to name laziness. I call off it selective work ethic. I put one acrosst see of it as procrastination; I think of it as time lag for inspiration to strike. It just so happens that inspiration likes to strike at 10:00 the night in the first place the paper is due, just as my piano doesnt bet to call until the Thursday in the first place my Friday lesson. When that Thursday arrives, or that 10:00 before a due date, I isolate myself in my defense, discipline of all distractions, and get down to work. Whats my fortress? My piano room. Or my writing chair. Whichever the case may be. Its a place void of disturbances.
